Passion Projects
Xyphien LLC almost exclusively works on passion projects. These are projects that the staff (Mostly the sole individual who owns the company) love and want to see come to light. This means you will always have a game come to light. If it's not fully funded, or the sales aren't quite right, it does not matter as the game has been made for the sole purpose of play, not profit.
Quality > Quantity
We pride ourselves in making the highest quality products we can with the resources we have over pumping out cash grabs. The goal is to create the games that we want, and that we will enjoy. Our main goal is purely to make games we want to play.
Quality > Profits
We're making games we want to play ourselves, as stated previously. This means we will NEVER add things we do not like, or could not enjoy. Things such as over use of in game ads, cash grabs, asset flips, or anything else that is just the same old, same old. We may use assets in our games, however it will never be an asset flip. We pride ourselves in our games and will never throw that away from profit.
Who are we?
Xyphien LLC is primarily a single individual, the one who's typing this right now. Chaun Farmer. A disabled veteran who served in the United States Army, and blew his knee out on deployment. The story is one too long, and too hardcore to tell on a single page. It totally wasn't from running in a poorly lit area and stepping in a pothole... or... was it? As someone who has played games from his youth, Chaun (Also known online as Xyphien) always had the goal to make his own company, and more importantly make his own game. Starting 2014 he began developing his dream game, Demi, which took the original Yugioh style and combined it with elements from other games he absolutely loved such as Duel Masters. Over the years the game became more and more unique, and more and more money was put into it. After which he decided to officially turn his passion project into a fully finished game you now know as Demi Card Game. I 100% got side tracked as I'm not good with writing about myself, so I'll end this here. Feel free to ask me more on myself in the Discord server!
